GLEAN Artist edition Ced'art Tamasala

The first GLEAN artist edition of 2024 is a giclée print by Ced'art Tamasala.

Ced’art Tamasala (1986, Likasi) is an artist and co-founder of CATPC (Cercle d’Art des Travailleurs de Plantation Congolaise). Tamasala’s drawings and sculptures have been exhibited internationally. At a conference co-organised by the Ruskin School of Art at the Mori Art Museum in 2018, Tamasala called for the repatriation of Congolese artworks held in museum collections around the world to the plantations of the DRC.

GLEAN Artist edition Hana Miletić

The second Glean cover edition was made by Hana Miletić. The images are source material she uses as inspiration for her textile works: ‘To humour my weaving teacher, I brought some of my old photographs to class and said I would weave what is depicted on them: repairs and transformations, small and big, using materials like tape, plastic and cardboard, applied to buildings, infrastructure and vehicles. That is what I have been doing ever since, and what I want to do for the rest of my life.’

GLEAN Artist edition Marie José Burki

‘This photograph was taken in the studio: rays of light fall straight onto 1 framed photograph hanging on the wall, waiting to leave for an exhibition. In this ephemeral moment, I photograph the photograph. I was delighted with the resulting image, which put the surface of the paper, the bouquet and the studio window on a single plane. Later, a test of this image is rephotographed in the evening light in the studio, the image of the back cover.’

Untitled by Marie José Burki is a colour print on Barita paper produced by KZG Brussels and measures 35,83 cm x 55 cm.

This GLEAN artist edition is numbered and signed on an edition of 15 copies.

The price of the edition is € 1.500 incl. VAT.

The edition is on view by appointment at our office, Zuidstraat 146 rue du Midi, 1000 Brussels.

GLEAN Artist edition Nel Aerts

Nel Aerts zoekt graag de frictie op tussen materialen, kleuren, het lieflijke en het ontwrichtende. Op uitnodiging van HART verkent ze voor het eerst het medium van de lithografie. Het resultaat stellen we graag voor op zaterdag 6 mei 2023 om 19:30 in Saint-Martin Bookshop, Vlaamsesteenweg 114, 1000 Brussel.

Deze HART kunstenaars-editie is genummerd en gesigneerd op een oplage van 50 exemplaren.
De litho heeft als titel Pink D + adidas, meet 58 cm × 75 cm en bestaat uit vijf drukgangen + manueel toegevoegde laag Polar zilver poeder op Zerkall litho VI papier (300 gr). Hij werd gedrukt bij Hans Van Dijck¨Multiples.

De prijs van deze editie is € 1.200 incl. BTW.

Laatste exemplaren!

Vanaf het najaar van 2022 nodigt HART opnieuw een aantal kunstenaars uit om een gelimiteerde kunsteditie te maken. De eerste in deze nieuwe reeks is een zeefdruk van Shirley Villavicencio Pizango.

Deze HART kunstenaarseditie is genummerd en gesigneerd op een oplage van 50 exemplaren en gedrukt bij Studio-Vanpoucke.

We presenteren de editie op zaterdag 26 nov. 2022 om 15:00 in de raadzaal van het Waregemse stadhuis tijdens een gesprek met de kunstenaar. Je kan bij die gelegenheid ook een bezoek brengen aan haar tentoonstelling Sunkissed by the Moon in Be-Part.
